Care packages for Concord Prison inmates were sent by some thoughtful souls. COVID-19 Virus Pandemic has been hard on all of us. It has been even more challenging for the incarcerated members of our society. They are unable to get out of their cells for their daily outdoor activities, or for their meals and all visitations have been suspended.

Earlier in the months of June & July of 2020, 5-10 packs of care package were collected by each family from a little community of Acton, Massachusetts for the inmates and thoughtfully, they included items like bar soap, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo.

Reminds of what Norman Vincent Peale said “Change your thoughts and you change your world.”

The packages are ready.

A message for the inmates included in each package, that just showered love and care on them from the outside in the free community. Children from this community wrote letters. They went in as anonymous, but the thoughts and prayers went along with them, for them to see that there is a world that cares for them.

The Prison authorities had asked if the community can do something to boost the inmates’ morale. The care pack project will be a small token to show the love and care. Cards made by the children are sure to bring smiles on their faces.

Delivery was made with the help of the authorities and the success of drive was amazingly satisfying to these thoughtful souls.

Aristotle Onassis once said, “It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.”. Thank you for everyone who participated in this drive.
