There have been many incidents from 2020 to 2021 as many people died during the Corona period. Many people became homeless, many people lost their families. That time has been sad for everyone. May God give peace to all those departed souls.

Jeevika lost her parents in the same corona period. After that she became alone, she had no one other than herself. She is a resident of Rajnandgaon Gendatola from Chhattisgarh. She had been living lonely for a long time and decided to get married thinking about how long will she remain single.

Mr. Sandeep Sharma, one of my known, who shared this good deed about his friend who lives in Chhattisgarh, associated with a foundation KANYADAN FOUNDATION. This foundation helped her by giving her an amount of eleven thousand rupees. He told that when he came to know about Jeevika, he and his staff went to her house, gave her the amount as a gift, and also blessed her. All the volunteers of the foundation were there during their marriage and did some work there and stayed there till the end of the marriage. They told us that it was the 61st charity of his foundation. The marriage ceremony was successfully performed. They got married on the 25th of April 2022.

This organization also works on Women’s empowerment by educating them about healthy living, especially during the menstruation cycles. They provide money to women and the amount deposited by the foundation is working well for women’s empowerment regarding menstruation. Volunteers of the organization go to the villages and make tribal women aware of the information related to menstruation. Adding some more money from the same work, they are able to help in the marriages of poor sisters and daughters. This is the reason that as soon as the organization got the news of the marriage of a poor and orphan daughter, the amount of eleven thousand rupees deposited in the last year was supported by done in marriage.

Many low-income families get help from such foundations and all the credit for that goes to all the foundations’ volunteers who support such charity.
